Do you install aps on the native memory (whatever it's called)  to the memory card? Notice some apps install on the card by default, others allow you to chose.  Are there any benefits?

The MicroSD has more memory then the "native memory."  So, the benefit of installng Apps on a MicroSD is space.  Like anything else - eventually, you could run out of space.  Therefore, it is best to just save to the MicroSD if you have a choice.

Thanks VPNavy that makes sense.  Is there to make all downloads install on the memory card by default?

If there is - I haven't heard of it.  I'm sure someone will jump in shortly if you can.

Did more research, from what I can tell you need to have 2.2 running (check) and the developer needs to offer the ability to move to the card.  Some apps allow it, while others don't.

Thanks,

I do not know if I have ever stored anything to the card. It says I have 2.1 running tghen it says update1 right behind it.  Its the firmware version. I attempted to see it there was an update available but it said I am current. Is there an update and I need to know how to find it?
